** South African paramedic in shock after he witnesses car crash that claims his entire family

** Texas paramedic charged in driving deaths of pastor and his wife

** A Pietermaritzburg paramedic is in shock after witnessing a car crash which killed his entire family Sunday. That is the word from the Pretoria News (Yogas Nair/March 12) which said ER24 practitioner Shane Sookdaw lost his wife, baby, and two other relatives in the accident. According to the newspaper, Sookdaw was following in a separate car as his family returned from an excursion at the Albert Falls Dam. Three other vehicles were involved in the crash which split Sookdaw’s family’s vehicle in half. All were killed instantly. Two people in another car were also killed, while two remain in critical condition in hospital.

** An Travis County, Texas paramedic has been charged with intoxication manslaughter x 2 in relation to a November 30th car accident that killed an area pastor and his wife. KXAN (March 9) said Terri Munoz Elmore, 40, was arrested Friday, with bond set at $50,000. According to the news site, Elmore’s blood alcohol level was tagged at .20 the night of the 9 p.m. US Highway 290 head-on crash. Dayspring Fellowship pastor Ernest Jackson Boyett Jr., and Barbara Boyett, both 64, were killed in the mishap.
