** UK woman arrested, charged after holding paramedic pair at knife point

** A Hampshire woman from Gosport is expected in Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court after allegedly holding a pair of paramedics at knife point Sunday. That is the word from The Standard (Kit Heren/September 16) which said Kylie Mancell, 32, has been tagged with common assault of an emergency worker and false imprisonment. According to the news site, Mancell allegedly held the medics hostage for 20 minutes after they were called to her address around 5:50 p.m. for an undisclosed ailment. Police were then hailed to the property and Mancell was arrested. No one was injured in the incident.
