** East Texas paramedic arrested, charged with child porn possession or promotion

** An East Texas paramedic from Lindale was arrested Saturday and charged with child porn possession or promotion. CBS 19 (Reagan Roy/August 3) said Matthew Clearman, 43, allegedly had hundreds of illicit images on his computer. According to the news service, police were alerted to Clearman by a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A search warrant was obtained on June 12th for his Instagram account, with the police receiving the records and files on July 20th. The photos and video found there depicted extreme sexual abuse of children, including intercourse. The children were between the ages of 7 and 16. Text messages from Clearman also verified the dissemination of the images. Other pictures were found after a search warrant was executed on Clearman’s home. He remains in jail pending the posting of a $500,000 bond. There is no word on his next court date.
