** Two UK medics attending call stabbed; in stable condition in hospital

** Two paramedics from Wolverhampton remain in stable condition in hospital after being stabbed while doing a welfare check on a man Monday. The BBC (July 6) said the duo, a man and a woman, were stabbed one time each. The wounds were in the chest and side respectively. According to the news site, police tasered and arrested a 52-year-old man in relation to the 12:30 a.m. attack. Police spokesman Supt. Simon Inglis called the assault shocking. He said it is believed to be an isolated incident and no one else is involved.
