** Kentucky ambulance director charged with stealing narcotics from service

UNITED STATES NEWS

** The ambulance director of Kentucky’s Carlisle County Ambulance Service has been charged with stealing fentanyl from his employer. That is the word from WPSD Local 6 (Jillianne Moncrief/March 29) which said John Curtis, 36, has been tagged with theft of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to the news site, Curtis allegedly admitted the theft, as well as using the narcotics. The jig was up for him after an employee thought his strange behavior might be related to a noticeable lack of fentanyl supply at the service. An investigation began immediately and Curtis was arrested a short time later. Police continue to look into the matter. The Carlisle County District Attorney said more charges could be added as the look-see proceeds.
