** Former North Carolina flight medic sent to jail for nearly two decades for sexually assaulting two boys

** A former North Carolina flight medic will be cooling his heels behind bars for the next 18 years after being convicted of sexually assaulting two Schofield, Wisconsin boys he was babysitting. That is the word from the Wausau Pilot and Review (February 21) which said Michael Kevin Justice, 45, was handed the sentence last week after extradition from his North Carolina home. According to the newspaper, he was arrested on April 14, 2017 and convicted in December 2019 of various sexual assault tags, including child enticement and causing a child younger than 13 to view or listen to a sex act. The incidents pertain to the time period between January 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014. Along with serving as a central Wisconsin regional manager for a medevac company, he also worked flight EMS in North Carolina. His latest job was as a public safety educator at Lenoir Community College. Along with the prison term, Justice will also serve 18 years extended supervision following his prison release. He will also not be allowed to have contact with any of the victims or their family members.
