** Memorial service held for Saskatchewan paramedic killed in October 25th line of duty crash

** Saskatchewan paramedics and other first responders from across the province gathered in Regina Sunday to honor the life of LODD medic Leigh Schroeder, 28. CTV News (November 3) said hundreds of people gathered to honor the memory of the Meadow Lake EMS provider who was killed October 25th in a crash with a pickup truck near Beauval. Icy conditions are believed to be at least partly responsible for the accident. According to the news site, Schroeder’s brother Ryan delivered the eulogy at the Living Hope Alliance Church. He is survived by another brother and his parents.
