** UK paramedic charged with rape, attempted rape, and sexual assault

** A Ramsey paramedic will appear in court October 14th to face charges of rape x 6, attempted rape, and sexual assault x 2. Peterborough Today (Joel Lamy/September 11) said Andrew Wheeler, 44, stands accused of committing the acts while working for the East of England Ambulance Service and St. John Ambulance. According to the newspaper, the offences allegedly took place over a sixteen year period beginning in 2002. The case will be heard in Cambridge Magistrates’ Court.
