** Bench warrant issued for Oregon woman accused of punching medic in the face

** Oregon police in Portland have issued a warrant for a woman who attacked paramedics trying to treat her Monday. KATU (Chris Liedle/August 12) said Tracy Lynn Casey, 38, apparently punched the medic in the face when she attempted to cancel her own call. Her partner then pepper sprayed a second provider. Both fled, but Casey was apprehended, arrested, and told to return to court for a 2 p.m. arraignment. The warrant was issued when she failed to turn up. Police said she has a felony conviction on her record and is a known drug abuser. The Monday incident comes just months after a city medic was stabbed while stopped at a red light.
