** UK police identify student paramedic killed in Wednesday crash

** UK police in Burton have named the student paramedic killed in a Wednesday car/ambulance crash as Tammy Minshall, 31. The Derby Telegraph (Jenny Moody/July 4) said Minshall died around 5:45 p.m. after a BMW hit the EMS unit. Although she was airlifted to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries shortly afterwards. Two other medics were treated and released from hospital, while the car’s driver suffered a leg injury. Minshall studied paramedicine in Stretton. Staffordshire Police have now issued a public call for any dash cam footage that could help discern how the mishap happened. Funeral services are pending.
