** Ontario police in Bradford used a taser Monday to subdue and arrest a man accused of assaulting a Simcoe County paramedic. CTV News (July 9) said the unidentified man, 23, initially fled the scene before returning to the home one hour later. He was tasered after persistently refusing arrest. Details of the paramedic assault have not yet been released, but police say the provider did not suffer major injury. The man, meanwhile, has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, and resisting arrest. There is no word on his next court date.
