** US Navy corpsman from Virginia charged with first-degree murder

** A US Navy corpsman assigned to a base in Quantico, Virginia has been charged with first-degree murder. That is the word from Fox 5 (January 7) which said Collin J. Potter, 23, was arrested Sunday after an early morning stabbing at a Washington D.C. apartment complex. According to the news site, police say Potter stabbed 36-year-old Vongell Lugo multiple times around 4 a.m. in a building hallway. There is no word on a motive for the alleged crime nor is there any information on Potter’s first court appearance.
