** Two Limpopo paramedics continue to recover in hospital after being attacked while responding to a call Wednesday night. That is the word from The Townpress (June 21) which said yobs sets the ambulance alight as it entered Northam near Thabazimbi. According to the newspaper, a female medic managed to flee into a bush, but a male paramedic remained with the EMS unit and was beaten. Although specifics as to their injuries were not available, a hospital spokesman said the two remain in stable condition.
