** Wisconsin EMT sentenced to 100+ years in jail for sexually assaulting children

** A Wisconsin EMT from Port Edwards has been sentenced to 140 years behind bars after being convicted of sexually assaulting three children aged 4, 8, and 9. That is the word from WSAU (May 25) which said Jacob M. Swiedarke, 32, pled guilty to the crimes last week. According to the news site, Swiedarke, who worked for both Spirit Ambulance and as a police officer in Rome, was taken into custody last September after the mother of one of his victims complained to police. Further investigation revealed two other children who had been assaulted by Swiedarke. An additional criminal complaint claimed Swiedarke both threatened and bribed his victims to stay quiet.
