** Wisconsin medic recovering after patient kicks him down the stairs

** A Wisconsin medic from Janesville continues to recover from a torn calf muscle after being pushed down the stairs by a patient April 8th. That is the word from The Gazette Extra (April 16) which said the unidentified practitioner will likely remain off work until at least April 24th. According to the newspaper, the male patient was allegedly high on drugs when he kicked the provider as the two hovered over a stairwell. Arriving police found synthetic marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia at the scene. Scott A. White, 49, has been tagged with battery, disorderly conduct, and bail jumping. The date of his next court appearance has not been publicized.
