** Former Welsh paramedic’s untimely death likely natural, coroner said

** Welsh police in Port Talbot remain baffled as to the exact cause of death for a former paramedic who was found dead at his home last October 19th. Wales Online (Steffan Thomas/July 31) said that was the assessment offered at an inquest this week looking into the demise of Leighton Thomas, 51. According to the news site, Thomas lay dead for nearly a week before police broke into the residence after a relative became concerned for his welfare. South Wales Police PC Roger Thomas said the body was found face down with no suspicious marks and no obvious cause of death. Pathologist Dr. Maurizio Brotto said Thomas’ death was not suspicious and likely resulted from a heart condition.
