** Maine medic rolls ambulance after dozing off at wheel

** The driver of a Maine ambulance suffered non life threatening injuries Wednesday when his ambulance rolled after he fell asleep at the wheel. That is the word from WABI (July 12) which said the Fort Kent EMS unit left the road around 4 a.m. in Masardis. According to the news site, a second medic was also injured in the mishap. The ambulance was not carrying a patient at the time. There is no word on whether or not charges are pending.
