** Ontario paramedic, already facing sex assault charges, gets tagged with more

CANADA NEWS

** An Ontario ACP paramedic from Dundas, already facing several sexual assault charges, has been tagged with a few more after a woman came forward when she read about the case in the newspaper. The Hamilton Spectator (August 16) said Halton Regional practitioner Tad Nelson, 57, was charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation following an investigation of the woman’s claims. These charges do not relate to his time as a paramedic. However, others do. According to the newspaper, Nelson was charged with sexual assault and voyeurism in July. Both related to an in-ambulance incident in October 2015. In April, Nelson was tagged with possession of child pornography x 2 as part of a sting operation. Police say the long list of charges indicate there may be other victims out there who have yet to come forward. They have issued a public call for more information related to Nelson’s alleged activities.
