** Off duty New York paramedic credited with helping save the life of elderly man

** An off duty Albany, New York paramedic is being credited with helping to save the life of a distressed motorist who apparently had a heart attack while on the highway Wednesday. News 10 (Ayla Ferrone/June 22) said Chelsea Noe, who was en route to a doctor’s appointment, pulled over to the roadside after seeing the unconscious, elderly man being taken from his car. According to the news site, Noe began rendering CPR to the pulseless man until a state trooper brought a defibrillator to the scene. Area EMS arrived shortly afterwards. The man was transported to hospital. Although Noe managed to get a pulse back through her efforts, there is no word on the patient’s current condition.
