** Bystanders, motorist harass EMS crew at scene of Oregon MVA

UNITED STATES NEWS

** Oregon police near Wolf Creek are investigating a Friday incident in which emergency responders to a fatal MVA were harassed by both pedestrians and motorists. That is the word from KATU (May 21) which said the 10:30 p.m. call played out after EMS was hailed to treat Corey Clifford Ray Steward, 21, whose vehicle rolled five times after he lost control. According to the news site, when paramedics arrived on-scene bystanders almost immediately began harassing medics as they attempted to treat Steward. They then left before police arrived, but a car both tailgated the ambulance and played cat-and-mouse around it while it was en route to hospital. The car also left before police could intercept it. No one was injured in the incident. Police said Steward was driving without a licence at the time of the accident. Alcohol may also have been involved.
