** Suspect arrested in drug theft from Scottish ambulance

** Scottish police in Lanarkshire have arrested a man, 40, in connection with the theft of some drugs
from an ambulance parked outside an A & E department. STV (November 26) said the man allegedly
took the medication bag from East Kilbride’s Hairmyres Hospital Monday around 5:30 p.m.. The kit
included both diazepam and adrenaline. Although the unnamed suspect was apprehended, the drugs
themselves were not recovered. Police have issued a public alert for their return via Crimestoppers.
