** Ontario paramedic facing child porn charges, has voyeurism tags added to allegations

** A Rhode Island man is due back in court November 9th to face charges he fled the scene of a
head-on collision Saturday that seriously injured an off duty Providence paramedic/firefighter.
NBC 10 News (Tony Gugliotta/ October 27) said Pawtucket resident Lee Carranza, 33, who has
been tagged with leaving the scene of an accident, turned himself into police Monday. According
to the news station, the crash between Carranza’s vehicle and that driven by medic Matthew
Gallant, 27, resulted in the latter having to be cut from his pick-up truck. Gallant, who is
recovering at Rhode Island Hospital, suffered a broken leg, lacerated liver, hip problems, and
broken teeth in the mishap. He also had to have his spleen removed. Carranza, who has a
lengthy police record, is being held in custody as a Superior Court violator due to a marijuana
tag unrelated to the case. Bail for the current matter was set at $35,000.
CANADA NEWS
** An Ontario paramedic, already facing child porn and sexual exploitation charges, has had
extra tags added to his case. That is the word from The Delhi News Record (October 27) which
said Norfolk County resident David B. Marazzo, 58, has also been charged with voyeurism x 3.
According to the newspaper, Marazzo was arrested October 5th. At that time, he was charged
with production of child pornography, possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation, and
offering to pay someone under the age of 18 for sex. Marazzo, who is currently out on bail, has
since been fired from his paramedic job.
