** In an effort to up their public profile, BC paramedics yesterday launched a PR push detailing the work EMS responders do. The Marketwire (March 2) said the Imagine campaign includes TV, print, and radio spots that will run for the next 8 weeks across the province. Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 873, Ambulance Paramedics of BC President Bronwyn Barter said the undertaking is necessary as the 24/7 work paramedics do can be overlooked.
