** Arkansas medic killed in car accident
UNITED STATES NEWS
** Kentucky police in Louisville arrested a man Sunday after he jumped in an ambulance, locked the doors, and refused to budge. That is the word from WAVE3 (Joey Brown/October 28) which said the man overtook the EMS unit around 1 a.m. Apparently intending to make off with the vehicle, he was thwarted by medics who stood in front of it waiting for police to arrive. Roshwan G. Trammel, 18, was taken into custody shortly afterwards. He told officers he was trying to go to Canada.
** Funeral services were held Sunday for an Arkansas paramedic killed Thursday in a car accident. KTHV (October 27) said the commemoration for Vernon resident Tony McSpadden was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Conway. Described as a well respected practitioner, McSpadden leaves a wife and son behind. By the time of his death, he had worked EMS for a decade.
