** Massachusetts ambulance loses control, plows into house

UNITED STATES NEWS

** Florida police in Titusville have now charged a second paramedic/firefighter in a case involving, among other things, allegedly poisoning a Lt.’s canteen. WESH (February 23) said Rodney Donhoff has been tagged with both stalking and petty theft. According to the news site, Donhoff aided colleague Randy Moore in pulling pranks on Lt. Phil Jones. Along with putting rocks in the Lt.’s boots and trashing his locker, the duo may have tampered with his wildlife gear. Moore has also been accused of putting flammable chemical poison in Jones’ drinking bottle. Moore was arrested February 21. He has been charged with misdemeanor poisoning water or food and aggravated stalking.

** No one was seriously injured, but both a Massachusetts house and a car suffered the worst when an ambulance crashed into them Sunday morning. The Daily Item (Taylor Provost/February 27) said the Revere incident, which occurred as the lit up ambulance was on its way to a call, played out without sirens blaring. According to the newspaper, the Cataldo Ambulance unit lost control around 3:30 a.m. after striking a Honda Civic. It then plowed into the front of a house, ripping off part of its facade. Three people were transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries, two of whom were in the car.
