** Florida firefighter fired after spying on showering female paramedic

** Three people are dead, after a Thursday morning crash of a Tennessee air ambulance. CNN (March 25) said the 6 a.m. incident, which occurred as the Eurocopter AS350 was returning to Brownsville from a patient drop-off in Jackson, saw the aircraft crash and burn in a field. According to the news service, the plane belonged to Memphis Medical Center’s air ambulance service. Both the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating. Initial information indicates the chopper was using visual flight rules and was not in contact with air traffic control at the time of the accident. Names of those killed in the crash have not yet been released.

** A Fort Pierce, Florida firefighter has been fired after spying on a female paramedic intern while she was taking a shower. The Associated Press (March 25) said the St. Lucie County man was arrested and charged with misdemeanor voyeurism after the incident. According to the news service, Carlos Alberto Marti, 36, admitted viewing the 19-year-old woman through a ceiling access at his station. He claimed his aim was to pull an old school prank of pouring flower on the newbie. Neither police, nor Marti’s employer, apparently believed him.
