The Rogersville Review (Tommy Campbell/June 17) said Church Hill resident Jeremy Austin Byrd, 19, has been tagged with auto burglary and theft over $500 for the heist which apparently occurred in early June. According to the newspaper, Byrd is accused of taking the EMS equipment from a local autobody shop where it was being repaired. After a tip off from the shop’s owner, police went to Byrd’s residence on June 4th and found the missing items. Byrd is also a suspect in a May 29th break-in at a local high school. In that instance, video surveillance caught the burglars on tape.
