** Boston woman accused of stabbing EMT faces court today

** A Massachusetts woman from East Boston returns to court today to face charges she stabbed a paramedic July 10th and called in two bomb threats to airports. That is the word from NBC Boston (John Moroney/Karla Rendon-Alvarez/July 31) which said Julie Tejeda, 31, who faces assault and battery charges x 3, will stand before a judge after having first undergone a psychiatric evaluation. According to the news site, Tejeda allegedly stabbed the EMT while in the ambulance after EMS was called for a report of a disturbed person. She then sprayed chemicals into the face of the medic’s partner. The injured practitioner has since been released from hospital but is still off work.
