** A defence request to reduce the bail of one of the accused in the March 31st beating of California paramedic Bryan Stow has resulted in further details of the alleged assault being revealed. The Los Angeles Wave (August 1) said the appeal is being made by attorneys for Louie Sanchez, 31, in advance of the August 10th arraignment. Sanchez is currently being held pending the posting of a $500,000 bond. According to the new papers unsealed Monday, police say Sanchez shoved Stow as he followed him out of Dodger Stadium. Once outside, he both hit and kicked him in the head, causing Stow to go unconscious. Sanchez also allegedly attacked one of Stow’s friends. His, record, meanwhile, includes a 2003 corporal injury conviction, as well as three arrests for DUI and a high speed police chase. He served 5 months in the clink in 2008 for a probation violation. As per the judge’s ruling, a decision on the bail reduction was delayed until August 10 pending the defence’s review of prosecution allegations made at the hearing. Sanchez and his co-accused, Marvin Norwood, 30, have been in jail since July 21.
