** Police in Alabama have arrested a man they say is responsible for the December 15 roadside death of Lowndesboro EMT Laura Pullam. WAFF (January 24) said Robert Allan Cumbie now faces charges of vehicular homicide. Authorities say Montgomery resident Cumbie, 42, was driving a 2006 Chevy pickup truck when he struck Pullam while she was attending a 2-vehicle MVA scene on I-65. WSFA (December 15) said it is believed Cumbie prompted the crash after speeding through an icy patch while passing traffic slowed by the initial 9 a.m. accident. Though Pullam was transported from the scene to Baptist South Hospital, she died shortly after.
