** A Hawaii based US Army combat medic, who has been charged with murdering his wife, was found guilty in a military court Saturday of child porn and sex solicitation charges. That is the word from the Associated Press (July 2) which said Honolulu resident Michael Walker, 36, was sentenced to over 2 years in jail after pleading guilty to the tags during his court martial proceedings. According to the newspaper, Walker was also reduced in rank from sergeant to private and will be dishonorably discharged. Despite the conviction, however, his legal troubles are only compounding. In federal custody since November, he is set for a civilian trial in January in the stabbing death of his wife Catherine. Walker’s alleged accomplice Alisa Jackson pleaded guilty in December to killing Catherine, 38. She told the court Walker helped to plan the murder.
