** Texas medic recovering after sustaining serious injuries Sunday in car/ambulance mishap

** Texas EMS officials in Dallas say a paramedic injured in a Sunday car/ambulance crash will make a full recovery from his injuries. That is the word from CBS Local (February 11) which said Nicholas Granados, 29, was in the front passenger seat of the EMS unit when the collision occurred. According to the news site, he suffered a collapsed lung, a fractured rib, as well as lacerations, contusions, and abrasions in the intersection smash. The car driver, meanwhile, died in the 3:15 a.m. mishap. Granados’ partner, meanwhile, who has not been named, was treated and released from hospital that same day.
