UNITED STATES NEWS
** An Arkdale, Wisconsin ambulance service owner has been sentenced to nearly two years in jail for the attempted sexual assault of a teenage girl. WSAU (Zach Hagenbucher/July 19) said former Adams County EMS owner Christopher Quinnell, 40, begins his sentence Friday for the crimes which reach back to 2000. According to the news site, the charges stem from an incident in which Quinnell was massaging oil on the girl’s leg, stopping at the pubic area when the girl told him to cease. When confronted by the girl’s mother, he denied any impropriety. The girl was in the 7th and 8th grades at the time. Jail time is only the latest of Quinnell’s troubles. In May, his ambulance service was shut down for safety violations and inadequate medication related documentation. Following the completion of his sentence, he will also serve 5 ½ years supervision.
