** Nova Scotia jury finds former paramedic guilty of sexual assault of two women

** A former Halifax, Nova Scotia paramedic has been found guilty of sexually assaulting 2 women in
his care, little more than a month after another conviction for sexually assaulting the wife of an
elderly patient. CBC (December 3) said the verdict comes after some 3 days of deliberations in
the matter involving James Duncan Keats, 50. Along with the conviction, Keats was acquitted of
attacking two other women. A trial date involving a sixth woman has yet to be set. Due to his
October sentence of 4 years in jail, he has remained in custody throughout the current proceeding.
