That is the word from the Canada Newswire (February 6) which said Mantooth, known for playing paramedic/firefighter Johnny Gage on the t.v. series EMERGENCY!, will help raise funds for the Tema Conter Memorial Trust. Raising awareness and conducting research on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the Trust provides information to paramedics, firefighters, police, and military personnel.

UNITED KINGDOM NEWS

** Liverpool EMS brass are waxing victorious, after a Christmas scheme to ban EMS assailants from pubs resulted in no attacks on providers. The Liverpool Echo (Ben Rossington/February 6) said the idea, which had the cooperation of the city’s Pub Watch, focussed on the core area. Pertaining to those who assaulted practitioners while in the midst of giving aid, the concept did not require actual charges to be laid to blacklist violators. Liverpool Chamber of Commerce spokesman Joe Curran said a publicity campaign is now being prepared to spread the initiative to the rest of the city.
