The Account Executive position offers a unique opportunity for a paramedic  ( retired and/or part time)  or equivalent experience to promote the industry leading Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider to emergency responders without compromising their personal interests.

Reporting to the Canadian V/P of Sales, the Account Executive will primarily be responsible for being the Allied local representative/ambassador on a part-time basis. Your relationship-based work experience will solidify and maintain existing accounts while growing other pre hospital providers within your territory by developing, cultivating and maintaining business relationships with top EMS providers; as well as working effectively ( when required) with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) and Allied team members. The Account Executive will also actively prospect for new business to expand their customer base. Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following:

Strengthening the Allied brand by :

  • Actively identifying and representing Allied with EMS providers by communicating the value of the Allied Medical service model, its new medical equipment innovations while focusing on the benefits of using the Allied extensive EMS product and service experience.
  • Developing a value-based sales strategy for each customer based on their unique needs, interests and business goals and objectives resulting in a customized solution.
  • Being the known commodity within your regional EMS customer base.

Innovation / Leadership by:

  • Partnering with EMS technical specialists, sales team resources, retailers and channel partners to be the EMS client’s product expert.
  • Developing business strategies and tactics that meet the needs of targeted emergency response providers including developing short- and long-term action plans to anticipate and respond to market dynamics.
  • Educating EMS providers ( when required) on the use of new medical equipment innovations
  • Positioning new innovations and communicate value messages to targeted emergency response providers.
  • Technically competent on paramedic /emergency response providers brands.

Qualifications:

  • Primary and/or Advanced Patient Care certification or equivalent medical equipment orientation training.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in the paramedic industry and/or technical background within this pre hospital sphere.
  • Proven success/relationships within the EMS/emergency services community.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to develop strong; successful business relationships with customers as well as internal teammates.
  • Ability to self-manage time and resources and to allocate time and energy appropriately, resulting in achievement of goals.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to periodically travel overnight/weekly.
  • A valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record
  • Passionate about making a difference in the EMS industry.

The Sales Manager position offers a unique opportunity for a professional to combine their respective sales and/or paramedic background to promote the industry leading Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider to emergency responders.

Duck Mountain Ambulance is an active and progressive rural paramedic service with an annual call volume in excess of 1400 calls annually this surely will challenge your skill level.

We service the community of Kamsack and surrounding geographic area
including two first nations’ reserves, we provide service to the east into Manitoba. Our satellite station in Norquay provides service to its surrounding area including a third first nation’s reserve. Our other satellite station provides care in the Watson area Our fleet consists of 4 units in Kamsack and a 5th in Norquay along with a rover vehicle, and 2 units in Watson, we employ 19 full time staff and a pool of casual staff that
come for a new experience. Staffing includes EMR – ACP with combined years of experience in excess of 200 years. We are settled in our Kamsack modern facilities with a spacious 4 bay garage, modern living quarters, fitness equipment, training centre, modern communications and our administration offices.

The Kamsack area is set in the beautiful backdrop of the scenic Duck Mountain Provincial Park which boarders Manitoba. The area offers recreational activities that include Skiing, Fishing, Camping, Snowmobiling, Quading and Golfing. The community of Kamsack offers a golf course, Hockey arena, Curling rink, swimming pool and movie theatre, as well as seasonal activities and community events.

The Hiring process will consist of:

• 3 day Ride along
