** Online fundraising has begun to help the family of a Pennsylvania paramedic from Rostraver Township who died earlier this month after being hit at an MVA scene. WPXI (January 24) said the effort involves the selling of hoodies and t-shirts. Matthew Smelser, who was a paramedic supervisor, died after a tractor trailer sliding on ice hit him.
