** Ontario police in Halton  have charged the husband of an EMT dispatcher with murder after her shooting death Wednesday. The CBC (Dan Taekema/August 22) said Kenneth Soederhuysen, 57, appeared in Milton court yesterday in relation to the death of Laura Grant, 57. According to the news site, Soederhuysen allegedly shot Grant in their Burlington home around 3 p.m. No information has been released about the motive for the homicide. Flags outside City Hall, meanwhile, are flying at half mast in Grant’s memory. At the time of her death, Grant was employed with the Mississauga Central Ambulance Communications Centre. Funeral services have not yet been announced.
