** Ontario’s growing opioid crisis is attracting the attention of politicians, with NDP Leader Andrea Horwath traveling to Peterborough today to talk with first responders about the scourge. Global News (Greg Davis/June 10) said Horwath would also discuss the matter with the city’s mayor, as well as with other municipal leaders. The meeting comes one day before local city councilors host a public meeting on the subject.
