** Missouri flags lowered to half mast in honor of paramedic/firefighter

 ** Flags in Missouri are flying at half mast today to honor the life of paramedic/firefighter Christopher R. Moore who died June 8th after suffering a medical emergency two days before. The St. Louis News (June 13) said Governor Mike Parson ordered the flag lowering at all St. Louis County government buildings. The flags will remain lowered for 24 hours. At the time of his death, Moore had worked with the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District for 17 years. He had also racked up time with the Eureka Fire Protection District and the Metro West Fire Protection District. In addition, Moore worked with Missouri Task Force 1 during 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. Funeral services are set for today at 11 a.m. in Maryland Heights. Moore leaves a wife, two children, and extended family behind.
