UNITED STATES NEWS

** Searchers in Alaska, looking for a missing air ambulance that disappeared January 29th, say they have now found some of the fuselage, tail assembly, and propeller blades of the King Air 200. WRAL (March 19) quoted Guardian Flight spokesman Jim Gregory as saying the debris was located Tuesday during an underwater search. The pieces are in addition to previously located items such as the black box, engine, and landing gear. According to the news station, Gregory said approximately 90 per cent of the plane has now been found near Frederick Sound. Recovery of some of the pieces will begin soon, with the debris given to the National Transportation Safety Board. The bodies of the crew, however, have not been located.
