** Plaque laid in honor of slain FDNY paramedic Yadira Arroyo

** Slain Fire Department of New York (FDNY) paramedic Yadira Arroyo, 44,  was honored Sunday with a commemorative plaque in the Bronx. Pix11 (March 17) said the plaque was placed at the corner of White Plains Road and Watson Avenue. Both friends and family attended the 3 p.m. ceremony. Arroyo, who had worked EMS for 14 years at the time of her death, died March 16, 2017 after she was run over with her own ambulance. Police arrested Jose Gonzalez. So far, he has not been found fit to stand trial. Arroyo left behind five sons.
