** A Dallas, Texas paramedic continues to recover in hospital after a Sunday morning crash that saw the driver of the car that hit him killed. That is the word from CBS Local (February 10) which said the 3:15 a.m. incident played out after car driver Luis Cabrera, 28, ran a red light, striking the EMS unit on a green. According to the news service, the prehospital rig was lit up and responding to an emergency call at the time. Both medics were injured, but one has now been released from hospital. A fire department spokesman said the second unidentified practitioner suffered serious injuries that will require more extensive treatment.
