** Ohio man given jail time for assaulting US Army medic outside bar

** An Ohio man from Delaware has been sentenced to 180 days in jail for assaulting a US Army medic on March 22nd of last year. The Columbus Dispatch (Beth Burger/June 20) said Anthony J. Agazarm, 22, apparently attacked the practitioner after arguing with Derrick Berry, 25, at an area bar. Convicted in April of felonious assault, Agazarm was originally sentenced to four years behind bars. The judge, however, suspended the term and gave him 3 years probation and six months jail time. Agazarm could be eligible for early release after four months if he pays $2000 in restitution. Berry, meanwhile, continues to recover from facial reconstruction surgery done after the attack.
