** Washington EMT has EMS credentials suspended for 10 years

** Washington State has suspended the credentials of a Mount Vernon EMT for 10 years after he racked up a child porn possession conviction in January. KGMI News (April 11) said the suspension for Beau James France, 41, resulted after the Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System filed revised charges. According to the news station, France resigned from his position last July. Q13 Fox (January 16) said France was arrested June 27, 2017 by the US Department of Homeland Security after they traced explicit videos to his computer. Under a plea deal, he had 5 tags reduced to 2 and was recommended for two years and two months incarceration. He was formally given the sentence on February 9th. The Skagit Valley Herald (February 9) said along with jail time France will face three years of police supervision after he is released.
