** Trial date set for Virginia medic in driving death of patient

** August 8th through 10th are the dates set for a jury trial for a Northern Virginia medic charged in the driving death of a patient. That is the word from InsideNova (Tracy Bell/April 15) which said Manassas resident Matthew Alexander Vancamp, 30, stands accused of involuntary manslaughter and reckless driving in the death of Samantha Lehmann. According to the news site, Lehmann died March 7th around 7 a.m. after the EMS unit Vancamp was driving rear ended a tanker truck on US 17 in Stafford. Along with Lehmann, two other medics were injured in the mishap. Vancamp was arrested and has since been released on a $7,500 bond.
