** Grand jury formally indicts Kentucky combat medic for raping and killing infant daughter

** A Kentucky combat medic from Fort Campbell has been indicted by a grand jury on charges that he raped and killed his 9-month-old daughter Adaline last November 14th. That is the word from The Leaf Chronicle (Chris Smith/March 1) which said Spc. Christopher Paul Conway, 22, is now being held without bond on first-degree murder charges. According to the newspaper, Conway has also been charged with aggravated rape of a child and aggravated child abuse. Although friends and family deny Conway is capable of committing such a crime, police say he confessed to them. Pending the grand jury indictment, he had been out on bail. Arraignment takes place today in Circuit Court.
