** Florida paramedic/firefighter dies while on duty Monday

** A Florida paramedic/firefighter from Brooksville is dead after collapsing while at work Monday. WFLA (October 17) said colleagues found Steven Terry unresponsive at his station and were unable to resuscitate him. Bayfront Brooksville Hospital doctors pronounced him dead a short time later. According to the news site, Terry had worked EMS and fire for some 25 years. He began with Pasco County Fire Rescue before moving to Spring Hills Fire Rescue and then to Hernando County Fire Rescue. He was also a First Sergeant with the Florida Army National Guard. Terry, whose age was not specified, leaves behind a wife and five children. Funeral services are pending.
