** A Cape Town man will spend the next 12 years of his life behind bars after being convicted of robbing a female paramedic at a call scene. Eyewitness News (Lauren Isaacs/October 4) said Siphelo Manunga, 21, was handed his sentence yesterday. According to the news service, Manunga used a toy gun to force the practitioner to give up her cell phone while she was treating a patient last December. He pleaded guilty in August to robbery with aggravating circumstances. An EMS spokesman said Manunga’s victim remains traumatized by the incident and is receiving counseling.
