** Ohio EMT dies after ambulance/car accident

** An Ohio EMT from Hardin County is dead after a Saturday crash at an intersection in which a driver ran a stop sign. 10TV (October 15) said the medic, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene. According to the news service, a second EMT was medevaced to University Wexner Medical Center in life threatening condition. The ambulance, which was en route to a call around 9:25 p.m., was not carrying a patient. A passenger in the car, meanwhile, was also air lifted to Wexner, while the car’s driver and another passenger were taken to Lima Memorial Hospital. There is no word on whether or not charges are pending against the car driver.
